Sylvia Schramm wanted to give this coutout- metal work a “touchable” expression and capture permanently.

A girl strides with a lively gait through the beguiling metropolis. She juts out of the picture as if reflected in a shop window. The Eiffel Tower forms the backdrop and simultaneously clothes the figure, as the dimensions blur and cannot really be made out.

VIVE LA FEMME is written in hand-cast resin on the hem of the skirt of this confident woman who, as it were, merges with Paris.

Technique

Schramm’s artistic technique is digital painting, which she has developed with the knowledge from painting into something unique. Series of works “Cutout” made of laser cut, hand polished aluminum plates, printed and resin applied by hand.

Suspension:
Picture rail, steel ropes and metal hooks (put the hooks in the hangers at the back). Or: use dowels.
