Self-determined women in strong poses reflect a part of our female society today. Whether IT Girl, Feminist or Business Woman – Girl Power increasingly determines the young generation. “Woman” earns her “Prada” bag herself, wears androgynous clothes and loves herself too! They have, each in their role, a role model function, which the artist visualizes in this work.

The “precious”, divine-golden color runs down on these women quite plastic, from applied synthetic resin.

Technique

Schramm’s artistic technique is Digital Painting, which she has developed into something unique using knowledge gained from painting. The motif is printed onto a metal plate using special, elaborate processes, which creates a
coexistence between substrate, printing ink and synthetic resin application. This play allows the viewer to literally feel the plastic and figurative and characterizes her impressive unique piece. Almost allegorically, this work was framed “weighty” in industrial iron.
